This six day trek combines impressive mountains and passes with local culture and rich history. On day one we leave Huaraz to Olleros and arrive at the Canrey Chico Town Center, where the llama farmers are waiting for us with the llamas and the equipement. We walk up and will sleep at 3,900 m. On the second day we cross the Yanashallash Pass at 4,700 m. All this time we walk on the Pre-Inca Trail between mountains and accompanied by llamas, remembering the pre-Hispanic past and the great pilgrimages of the ancient Peruvians , until we reach our second camp in "Kutacorral" (4,200 m.). The next day we climb the pass Hatúnqueñuash at 4,600 m and will hike down to a camp at 4,000m. We will see the beautiful mountains Uruashraju (5,735 m), Rurec (5,700 m), Huantsan (6,395 m), San Juan (5,843 m) Chinchey (6,222 m) and Maparaju (5,325m). On day four we tackle another pass at 4,650 and then descend through the Jitaqoq Ravine, locating our camp at the beginning of the Rajuhuarushka Ravine 3,950m. Day five will likely blow your mind with scenic lagoons and very diverse flora. We will stay that night at the same camp. The final day we continue our hike down and will get transfer to Chavin to visit the Archaeological Ruins of 1,400 before Christ and the Chavin National Museum. Finally you will get transfer back to Huaraz, which takes up to four hours.
